The food was... read more We enjoyed a meal at Meta Restaurant on June 8th. Although the restaurant's location is anything but inviting, we left Meta as satisfied customers. The food was delicious, and the quality of the ingredients was outstanding. We opted for a three-course menu. We were greeted with bread and two dips, followed by an amuse-bouche (asparagus cream soup). We chose carpaccio of fjord salmon fillet, vitello tonnato with marinated anchovies, and suckling pig fillet wrapped in bacon with green peppercorn jus and potato gratin, and we were not disappointed with our choices. The service was very attentive and friendly, and changes to our order were easily accommodated. It's well worth paying a little more for such good food.
