Ok, so if you are hungry, tired of the hotel food, and you like EXCELLENT Mexican food, this is your place. We were tired and hungry, and just needed a beer and some fajitas. We stopped in, chicken fajitas, all the best toppings, home made corn tortillas.....wow, this place is really that good.I wish I could remember the name of the waiter, but cannot. He was polite, attentive, great.I also wish we had this restauran... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fajita Banana:
We visit Fajita Banana on our first night several trips every year. We have always loved the food, service and friendliness. That is until this year. The four of us ordered our old standby, Mahi Mahi, which we have every trip. The fish was SO salty that it was inedible. The waiter replaced all four orders, but they were equally bad. The owner was sitting at another table by himself and was aware of our complaints, bu... View all feedback.
Had a delicious club sandwich on chibata and fries. the wife has chips, salsa and guacamole plus coffee and strawberry margarita. very delicious everywhere.
What a hidden gem this place is. we eat here 3 times during or on holiday. twice for dinner and once for lunch. every time it was very good to eat. we had grilled garnel and a steak fajita and garnel fajita. the guacamole was the best I ever had done fresh. we will go back to the city
First time we have eaten there based on a referral from a local. Excellent service, Pancho was the best. 4 of us went and we all had fajitas, the girls chicken and the guys shrimp. Plenty of food, the girls could have shared an order....I highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back.
Service here was wonderful and there was plenty of food served. it was great tasting and a good atmosphere with great fans and a nice view of the harbor.
There were 5 of us that went there this evening. The service started out well and was good throughout but there are a couple of things that need to be said. The salsa with the chips was very disappointing, Salsa was waterty and lacked any...vegetables in it. 4 people had the ribs they lacked flavour. There was enough to satisfy their hunger but they had hoped for really good ribs. The chicken fajita was good and there was plenty of it. The part that made us decide to do a review was that we had asked for separate bills but it wasn't separated. All good we can do that. Used and exchange rate of 20 pesos per USD, all was good we knew how much to pay. The waiter then pointed out the USD total which did not work out to 20 so we asked and it was 18 pesos per USD. We had to calculate it all again. The staff member was hovering and we told him to wait. He said I have people waiting. Yes but advised him if you had given us separate bill as we asked that we wouldn't be taking so long. We left and still left the waiter a decent tip,
