Aroma, Coffee Breakfast - Puerto Limon

What a find! A beautiful cafe with the best iced coffee I’ve had in Costa Rica! I had avocado toast with sauteed mushrooms and arugula, and my husband had a delicious omelette. He also got a coconut/ginger/mint smoothie that was amaing. The cafe is relaxed and has games to pass the time. In the garden was Spirit, a young woman with her handmade skin care products- all of which smelled amazing. I bouht her recommendations and we had a lovely chat. She runs Chiquita Cahuita a monthly farmers market with artisanal products. We will definitely be back!

I have to say I was a little disappointed after the reviews I'd seen As a few have mentioned, you have to wait a little before being tended to and served but it wasn't overly long, it just felt as though the waitress had better things to do, I don't think I saw her smile, definitely not the usual Costa Rican greeting I'm used to, but we all have off days Food wise, they have a variety of options including vegan but for me, it wasn't anything special but it filled a hole I'm not sure if I'd go back though tbh

We arrived after 4 hours driving from San Jose with a lot of hunger and thirst, and the terrible attention. Too bad to go there. The number of people in Limon is understandable, but in the restaurant there are 3 months and we were not so many. The bad is the deal. Pedī water since I arrived and for 4 times in a row and it came 1 hour later, and the food took 1 hour. Yeah, an hour! The eggs came cooked and the answer was: is it not only their eggs that we are making true? I asked if it was possible to give more coffee to my husband who was going to eat with a coffee that was already cold, they told me that no then I said no matter how serious Cortez they would give refill for the wait of 1 hour but no matter what I paid. Anyway, they never brought it. When I told the girl of the eggs, she said to me: I should understand the situation... what I answered: wait 1 hour here sitting by water and food is not understanding? There was no apology, there was no replenishment of eggs, coffee, but!!! if I plunge a deal like we weren't paying! We arrived after 4 hours of driving from San José, and the service was terrible. Anyway, they never brought it. When I told the egg girl, she said: you should understand the situation... to which I responded: waiting 1 hour sitting here for water and food is not understandable? There was no apology, there was no replacement of eggs, of coffee, but!!! If there was a deal as if we were not paying!

This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. they have made great coffee and fresh food with love. enjoy a walk through the national park before or after, aroma. They also have a really nice vegan menu.

Great place to breakfast in the heart of cahuita, right at the train station. great coffee, delicious breakfast dishes and many vegan options. highly recommended
