go there if you have hours to save. we first ordered the fried spring rolls, humus and mojitos. it took over an hour to get one of them, so we ordered our escapes as soon as we got the appetizers. we ordered the hoedeopbab without fish and kichererbsalat without cheese. it took an hour to receive. Thank you, we had a nice view. for the delay we received 2 free mojitos. View all feedback.

we chose this restaurant because happy cow said it had a separate vegan menu and the chef was familiar with chef vegan. while we have no problems with eating that we have ordered, there was no vegan menu and eating doesn't fit at all to what happy cow has described. we could order an salad, a few tempura vegetables and falafel along with drinks. very expensive, almost double the cost of eating at the reggae bar for s... This is a beautiful place to eat by the sea in Playa Negra, Cahuita. It would be a nice date night spot. You have a world fusion menu with sushi, Korean flavors, fresh fish, steak and some Middle East delights. Sometimes they are also live music.
A very unassuming and charming restaurant that doesn’t look like much from the roadside. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. For an appetizer I had swordfish carpaccio which was delicious I shared a small amount with a kitten that lived at the restaurant; we both enjoyed it. I had grilled sea bass with vegetables for my main and it was done to perfection. My wife had shrimps cooked in a spicy Mexican sauce. We were alone in the restaurant at 7:00pm and it was getting very full by 8:00pm.
Very nice ambience, super friendly staff and really delicious food that has great presentation. There were a few hiccups with the service but not a game breaker for us. We will definitely go back.
Amazing food and good sushi. Our only big issue was how slow the service was. Our drinks basically came with the starters 15 minutes into dinner. Otherwise, if you're in Cahuita and looking for good sushi, look no further. Go for their combo of 30 pieces for two, and they'll adapt to whatever requests you have like they did for us! Just be prepared to wait on a busy night.
Very nice view on the sea. We had a good sushi but the service was not welcoming, very slow and we waited like 20 min for mojito. Also the prices in the menu are without tax so be prepared to pay not only +10% bad service but also +13% tax, rediculous!
