seriously the best reuben sandwich in pueblo. and they have gluten-free brot for those who cannot eat gluten! I also loved the potato salad and the pickel. it reminded me that I had eaten as a child in the house of my great aunt or oma. my man enjoys the cheesecake and I love the coconut macaroons! What User doesn't like about Schlep's Sandwiches:
We ordered two Reuben sandwiches, but we should have just ordered pastrami since each sandwich only had a few strands of sauerkraut. The staff disappeared into the back while we were there and didn't come out until we were ready to leave. I don't think we will be returning to this deli, as it seems to have fallen into the category of not really wanting to succeed during these challenging times. View all feedback.
Very well kept restaurant. The owner was very helpful, and you can tell she takes great care of the place, and puts her heart into it. Food was great, and potato salad was different from any I’ve ever had (I loved it, my mom just liked it).
I grew up in Pueblo but have been living out of state for 12 years. While visiting, my family and I stopped by Schlep's for lunch. The sandwiches are at least on par with , if not better than any other Jewish deli that you'll find. Will try to stop by the next time I visit.
I was in Pueblo for work and on my way back to Colorado Springs, I decided to look for a local sandwich shop. Schlepe's came up on Google as highly recommended. I must say that the environment was quaint, quiet, and comfortable. I really enjoyed my dining experience. They have a really good menu of sandwiches and other items. I had the pastrami sandwich. It was a little more expensive but it had a lot of meat and tasted amazing. I had the potato salad as a side. It had an interesting lemony flavor to it. I highly recommend Schlep's Sandwiches to anyone living in or visiting Pueblo. You will not regret this experience!
Great lunch spot. The food is fantastic, the service friendly and incredibly fast. Nice atmosphere for a casual or business lunch. Definitely a nice local spot to check out
The chefs at this restaurant are true culinary artists, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients to create exceptional sandwiches. Karissa and her team excel at crafting their products with care, resulting in mouthwatering rye bread, pastrami, and sides like potato salad. However, it's the warm smiles and friendly conversation that truly set this place apart. The overall experience leaves a lasting impression.
