Was Victoria jayne at 7 Steps a mag?
Lovely hidden gem. staff were very friendly and helpful, especially to my mum with a wheat allergy. The food was lovely- relatively simple but executed perfectly. Good portions too- 5 large scallops for the starter and a large piece of sea bass for main. The wine menu is also well priced. Will be back soon! Dietary restrictions: good at catering for a wheat free diet although more dessert options would be good- only... View all feedback.

This is my diamond in the rough,,an excellent menu,,executed beautifully, staff are terrific and the ambiance is second to none..a must if your in pudsey,,the Sunday roast is absolute perfection,,I recommend the sea food dishes,,and the cocktails..yummy

I had my first visit today, and it was fantastic! Here’s a quick recap in seven steps: The Scotch egg starter was incredible and perfectly runny. The roast beef dinner was absolutely beautiful. Finally, the highlight was the sticky toffee pudding—it was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back!

I visited this restaurant for a casual dinner with friends and found it to be a cozy and charming spot. The prices are quite reasonable, and the service was excellent. I ordered the fillet steak, asking for it to be cooked almost blue, and it arrived cooked to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was less creamy than I anticipated, leaning more towards a peppery flavor, which might be what it’s meant to be, but I personally prefer a creamier sauce. The thick-cut chips were wonderfully prepared—flavorful and with a nice crunchy exterior. I also enjoyed the Caramac Aero and Sky brownie, which was absolutely delightful! The service was efficient, and we didn't have to wait long for our meals, even though the place was quite busy when we left. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.
