We all enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to come back the next night. And when we did, the encrusted bluefish was just as delicious as before.
We have dined at this restaurant before and have always enjoyed our meals. However, on the night before Thanksgiving, we had a terrible experience. We were not satisfied with the service we received when we were ushered to our table.
Wow, where are we?! This place has the best happy hour! The sashimi, drinks, and little neck clams are amazing. Perfect for an aperitif every day. There's also a great shop next door!
The oysters and clams here are outstanding, and they offer a happy hour daily from 3-5 PM with half-price oysters and clams. Unfortunately, the clam chowder fell flat and could have used a bit more salt, although the fish soup was quite tasty. The lobster roll was also underwhelming in flavor. On the bright side, the other dishes, such as the lettuce cups and cod cheeks, were fantastic. The covered patios are dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. Overall, I recommend this place and would definitely come back.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXCELLENT HAPPY HOUR DEAL, SUPER FRESH OYSTERS AND DELICIOUS LITTLENECKS, MAC’S FISH HOUSE IS THE PLACE YOU NEED TO GO. We ate 18 oysters for 27$ and 6 littlenecks for 6$. The happy hour was between 15h-17h so it was perfect to go eat there after a day of bike (the rental closes at 18h).
