What User doesn't like about Big Al's Island Grill:
The restaurant offers three vegan options: a chickpea burger, a black bean burger, and a portobello burger. I've eaten there twice; the chickpea burger was quite dry, but I was able to improve it by adding extra pico de gallo. The black bean burger, on the other hand, was very bland, although it was double the size of the chickpea burger, so I couldn’t even finish half of it. Both options are decent, especially when... If your hankering a beyond burger here is the place to go. Nice place nothing too special
My partner (vegan) got the vegan impossible burger, which was labeled vegan on the menu. It was pretty plain but he liked it. I am vegetarian and I got the Skinny Al panini, which was good and had yummy veggies in it. Also got the mango slaw, which was an 11/10!!! Definitely order that if you’re vegetarian! The fries were also super crunchy and the drinks were strong. For Turks and Caicos, the prices weren’t too bad.
They have 3 options for vegans, a chickpea burger, black bean burger and portobello burger. I ate here twice, the chickpea was super dry but I was able to fix this with extra pico. The black bean was extremely bland but twice the size of the bun so I couldn’t finish even half. Both are ok, especially if hangry- which I was!
They have two option to choose from. A bean burger and a quinoa salad. Ordering the black bean burger you have to be very specific on ordering it vegan as it is displayed as veganvegetarian and it will come with cheese even if you say that you want the vegan option! Staff don't get the point and they are not happy to replace it for you. I even doubt that the burger bun was vegan! Not a good experience, Would not eat there any more.
