What User doesn't like about Planta Maestra Manuel Montt:
everything is vegan here, but actually is a rather expensive place, even the personal has no idea of the products they sell. the same products they find in other stores; the prices are overestimated here. View all feedback.
Located close to several hotels, it is a good option for those who come to santiago for tourism or work All vegan options are delicious but this quiche caprese is fantastic (photo)
Planta Maestra Manuel Montt provides many vegan products you wouldn't find elsewhere easily. Apart from vegetable milk, a variety of seeds and plenty of nut and soy bars there is tofu in the fridge and there are mock meats (burgers, sausages) in the freezer. You find good quality juices, wholegrain pasta, plenty of oils and sauces, too. Approximately between midday and evening they offer a lunch menu as well (haven't seen all of Planta Maestra branches in town do that). Moreover you can get a vegan burrito or empanada or sandwich (warmed over or cold for take-away). At last quinoa bread and muffins and stuff like that. Very friendly employees! Some products (mainly the imported ones) are quite expenisve. Their fresh food is pretty affordable though, and good, too. I discovered there canary grass milk, so awesome! Opening hours are outstanding. However, I have been there twice at about 9:30 am on weekdays and it wasn't open yet. So either the hours added here are not accurate or the staffers don't care that much about them. Open till late though. They don't sell fresh fruits and vegetables anymore (as of summer 2016); fresh fruit juices were out at least few times (evening). Updated from previous review on 2016-07-24
We ate here and had lovely mexican style burritos, they have lots of empanadas with creative fillings, amazing mint chocolate power bars and shakes and the place is 100% vegan
I went to eat something fast in the past, and the salad came with a juice and a muffin, the rich salad, but I found it small, the rich kiwi apple juice, which I received most was the muffins I ate later. recommended if you are out there.
I love this place to go to buy things to cook (such as quinoa or special lentils), to eat interesting cereal bars, with sesame or seeds and a lot of flavor, or to buy arizona juices, which were not previously found in many other parts. food is not all my drop, although I appreciate a vegetarian dish. He's losing that thing. but they do well with the good waves, and with all the other pros of the place, such as offering products difficult to find in other parts, special cereals, water filters of hastsa specific fruits, and with the idea of a more joto and decent market. ♪
