The Original Haven Brothers Diner Providence

One of the oldest mobile diners in the country! They started with a horse-drawn carriage. They work in the dead of night in a sketchy part of Providence. But they sling great burgers and fries. Got to eat mine while a street person asked me for $2 and offered me candy in exchange, and then went off on a rant about how good Haven Brothers was. I agree!

This place is worth the drive just for the nostalgia. Food is great and you must have one of their famous shakes. Highly recommend and a must go.

It's a bit of a long wait but the hot dogs and milkshakes or delicious. The shakes especially, they're not overly thick, which I love. A great way to end a night

Regrettably, our dining experience did not meet expectations. Opting for the to-go option, I got the burger accompanied by cheese fries and a milkshake.Staff there were cordial and attentive ??.The burger featured what felt like a fresh roll bun, a few strips of cold bacon and american cheese, it lacked seasoning in the patty, relying heavily on bbq sauce.??The cheese fries, unfortunately, were bland and undercooked, failing to justify their pricing. ??While the cookies and creme shakes were ok ?? it had a bit of an aftertaste of artificial sweeteners.Despite a cost nearing $20, the overall quality failed to leave a satisfactory impression.??
