What User doesn't like about Thai Star:
Usually this establishment has never disappointed me, and I have been a very loyal customer. But today I was very unsatisfied with my order because my order was done incorrectly. My order of seafood magnes was missing a variety of ingredients such as scallops, and there was a very poor amount of fish for the price that I paid. Usually when I buy this dish I receive a good amount of fish, and scallops are in my order.... View all feedback.

Always friendly service, nice portions, and delicious food. I highly recommend eating here!
I would be very surprised if this place doesn't get shut down by the health department or go out of business based on service alone. Upon ordering my food I could only get my half my order in before it sounded like another customer walked in and I was hung up on. Reluctantly I called back two times. On my third call right before I was about to give up I get an answer and I'm able to complete my order for pick up. I wasn't asked for my name or number but was told It would be ready in about 20 minutes, fair enough. I get there 30 minutes after and the store is closed. I have to walk back to my car and call to have the doors unlocked. Entering the building the place was cluttered and had a faint smell of dust. The coffee pot stashed away in a hoard of items caught my attention. It looked like it had been sitting for ages. One of the employees rushes to the front with two plastic cups spilling ice trying to fill them up muttering under her breath. A few minutes later another lady appears and apologizes for them not having any Thai iced tea. I asked if there was any other tea available but to my disappointment I was offered the stale coffee in the corner of the restaurant I had noticed earlier. The food was mid. The crab Rangoons were soggy and the filling was gross. Also the sweet and sour dripped like water when dipped which was extremely off putting. The coconut shrimp was okay but again, everything had a stale overtone to it. The pad Thai was able to be salvaged by a heavy ration of Siracha. If I could give this place a 0 I would.
They are a neighborhood staple. Love them pad Thai, spicy veggies and other classics. All good!
