Ogiea€™s Trailer Park - Providence

I brought some friends who had never been to Ogies for great drinks and affordable food. It's always a good time at Ogies.

My friends and I decided to try out this restaurant after leaving another bar. Upon arrival, we realized that we were the youngest patrons at 22 years old. Despite feeling out of place, we chose to stay and give it a chance. We opted to sit on the back patio, which had a nice, kitschy aesthetic. Our server promptly took our drink and appetizer orders, which arrived quickly. However, after our main meals were served, our server seemed to disappear. Despite finishing our food and drinks, no one came to clear our plates or offer us another round. After waiting for over 45 minutes, we eventually had to flag down someone to bring us the check. Although the food and drinks were tasty and reasonably priced, the lackluster service overshadowed our experience. We observed our server attending to other tables and chatting with colleagues, making us feel ignored. Overall, while the theme of the restaurant was enjoyable, the poor service ultimately deterred us from returning or recommending the establishment.

We arrived after leaving another bar and noticed that it wasn't really our scene, at we were definitely the youngest people there but decided to give it a shot anyways. We sat down in the back patio which was nice, definitely very kitschy but a fun idea. The server came over right away and took a drink and appetizer order. They both came out super quick but after receiving our meals never saw our server again. We finished our drinks and food and stacked up our plates and watched staff walk by us for at least minutes. No one came over to get a second drink order, clear our plates or even bring the check. Finally a very long time later someone came over so we could pay. We wanted a second drink but at this point had waited so long we were over it and just wanted to leave. I have worked in the servive industry for a long time so I am always very patient with service staff but it wasnt busy and saw our servers go to other tables and even stand inside chatting and hanging out so we felt like we were simply being ignored. Food and drinks were good, prices were low and the theme was kind of fun but the service killed out vibe so we definitely wouldn't return or reccomend.

Place looked way cooler in photos, not what we were expecting. Our waitress was very pleasant; however SLOW. She was the only waitress in the reservation section, but barely checked on us. You would think she would do a round of check in's after taking another party's order. The food was very good; however, I don't think I will return.
