O'BOY's mixed drinks are fabulous and the food is well thought out. Portions are a bit all over the place, but everything is really well-prepared. Eat here.

This was a last minute reservation with another couple. The restaurant happened to be busy—the busiest day since they opened—and the party next to us left after not being served in a timely manner. We were not in a hurry so we waited. Wait staff extremely apologetic about the slow service. I loved my dinner (chicken ramen). My husband ordered the O’BOY steak which was delicious but insufficient for him. Next time he would add an appetizer. The other couple was also happy with their selections. All in all, we were very happy and the noise level was excellent for us once the table next to us left.

The restaurant was cold. Every time the door open we got blasted with cold air. Our reservation was at 6 PM and we told them in advance that we had a show at 8 PM. The waitress did not even come to greet us till 6:20 PM. We gave her a drink orders which came 10 minutes later. She did not come to take our food order till 635 to 6:40 PM. We had to flag her down to give our food order and again reminded her we had theater tickets and she said she did see that in our reservation. At 7:05 PM, we still have no food. My friend also did not even get his drink. When I inquired about the food, she said that they’re very busy and she didn’t know when the food would come out. She said she would have the manager come and talk to me. The manager came over a few minutes later and said that the food would not come out for at least another 35 minutes. At this point, it was 7:10 PM. We told them that we had a show at 8 PM and we had to leave the restaurant by 7:40 PM which was noted when we made the reservation. She said that she sorry but the kitchen is very busy and they usually are not busy. She should not have accepted so many reservations. At this point, it was 715 and we had had not one bite to eat. We walked out of the restaurant and had to find some quick fast food to eat in order to make our8 PM show. It was the worst dining experience we have ever had. I have never been at a restaurant that they not give us one drop of food after sitting there for one hour and 15 minutes when we had a reservation. I will never go there again. They need to hire a lot more staff and reconfigure the door so patrons don’t get blasted with cold air every time the doors open.

We decided to get up and leave the restaurant after sitting there for 45 minutes without being brought menus, asked for a drink order or even given tap water.
