Was Jackie L at O'boy a mag?
I rated this restaurant 5 stars because from the moment my daughter and I walked in, the waiter welcomed us with a smile and was incredibly polite. He promptly ensured that our food was served quickly since we only had a 30-minute lunch break before heading back to the theater, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent as well. What Rene Konopelski dislikes about O'boy:
saw a high table in the bar area at the window, which is always a good place to sit. the drinks were a bit expensive for the size of pouring. eating was excellent. wonderful mix of aromen! huh, bark meat and mushrooms were extremely delicious! best kimchi I've ever tried. are tapas size, so they do not expect a gluttonous event. will come back! Found this place while wandering around Providence, I had the braised Chinese Pork. It was very good a little salty but enjoyable. Service was great.
I wish I took photos because the food was so beautiful! What a lovely and cozy place. Everything about it- the food, the ambiance, and our fabulous waiter was simply delightful. The food was inventive and delicious. The gyoza and scallion pancakes were especially amazing. I think the prices were reasonable, especially considering it feels like a much more expensive place. I tried something I normally don't like (pork fat) and absolutely loved it. I will definitely be back!
The Poké Bowl was delightful, especially with the truly spicy Sweet-Chilli Sauce. However, the standout savory dish of the evening was the Soy Salmon. Each piece of fish, topped with fish eggs, melted in your mouth. It was paired with a wasabi cream that quickly became my favorite dressing choice—it was irresistible! Dessert is a must. Seriously, don't skip it. The cereal milk bingsu is legendary—sweet and light with a delightful cereal crumble that added texture. While my friends enjoyed their light and airy black sesame tiramisu and cereal cake, the bingsu was the real showstopper; we found ourselves fighting over the plate and making very expressive sounds at the table. Of course, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I’m already looking forward to returning to O’BOY every other week!

This place is fantastic! I stumbled upon it while traveling for work on Christmas Eve, and it exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, and the dessert was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
