Picked up takeout with the restaurant week menu. Was so excited to try this place but was very underwhelmed. Got the fish and the tenderloins and they were tasty but just underwhelming. The fish looked like it was just tossed on some lentils and that's it. The tenderloin was very good but the sides were okay. I visited this restaurant with a friend to celebrate a performance, and we were immediately welcomed. Our reservation was confirmed promptly, and our waitress, Elle, greeted us at the table within a minute. She answered all our questions with excellent responses and suggested the scallops, which we decided to try. My friend ordered the steak, and both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Elle was attentive and checked in on us at just the right times. Overall, this was the best service we've experienced since before COVID. The ambiance was fantastic, making it a wonderful choice for a date night. Thank you!

During restaurant week, everything was beautifully packaged and of top-notch quality. The pork was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. Everything felt intentionally prepared in a way that made it ideal for reheating, without losing its texture. The soup was excellent, and the dessert was well-executed. After trying the regular menu and the dessert supplement I paid for, I don’t think restaurant week really offers any savings, but it does indicate that this restaurant has great prices year-round!
Great service, nice selection of alcohol and cocktails, a healthy and tasty combination for dinner, plus a warm atmosphere chatting with local and tourist, I really enjoyed my dinner there. the only thing visitors should note is that they are only opened after 4:30 a.m.; so they plan accordingly when they go to the water fire.
Service was excellent. Food was fresh, seasonal and perfectly sized. We’re not big on dessert, but our starters and entrees were so good that we went for it. The toffee molasses and date cake with ginger ice cream and the bubino ? chocolate mousse pudding was equally fantastic. It had been almost 20 yrs since our last visit, but New Rivers is back on our short list.
