I ordered chicken and calamari. The rice was cooked perfectly as I remembered, but the calamari was not what I expected. It appeared to be pre-breaded and fried before grilling, resulting in a chewy texture by the time it reached me. It wasn't my favorite, but that's what I get for choosing something on a whim. What User doesn't like about Mt. Fuji:
The service was terrible and although my friends and I had reservations, we had to wait for half an hour to take place. And the bathroom was flooded as if it were a nightclub. View all feedback.
Overall, this restaurant is quite disappointing. The interior is pleasant to look at, but the food lacks flavor, with the exception of the not-so-fresh squid. The hibachi presentation was mediocre, but at least we didn't leave hungry.
During my recent visit to this restaurant, I was not feeling well and had a limited appetite for a large meal. I ordered a miso soup and a spicy tuna roll, which were good. We informed the waitress of my shellfish allergy and she acknowledged it. However, when the chef came out to cook at our table, there was no show and he immediately started grilling shrimp, despite my allergy. When I kindly informed him of my allergy, he dismissively told me that he wasn't cooking for me, only the other people in my group. This lack of consideration and empathy was very disappointing and one of the most rude encounters I've had with a chef. His disregard for my safety also prevented me from even trying anything off my husband's plate, as he continued to cook with shellfish in close proximity. Overall, I was disappointed by the chef's attitude towards my allergy, which could have had serious consequences for me.

Additionally, the restaurant is very loud, but I suppose that adds to the overall experience.
Been here numerous times before concerts or a night out. Food is delicious and service is excellent. Love getting the scorpion bowls. Atmosphere here is also a plus. Would recommend for a fun night out with friends.
Seriously dont waste your time or money! Go somewhere else. Poor service (if you can even get a waiter to come over) and awful food!
