Food was exceptional... service was accomodating!! Me being foreign to the place they expained what everything was and assured me it was food i would enjoy!
My Second Time... Great food... Will go again... Wanted more... Thanks to my Sweetheart for bringing me!
First time coming here, was unable to make a reservation ahead of time, waited for 1 1/2 hours for two tables, heard so many great things about Mi Guatemala. Staff was very nice and friendly, clean restaurant, bathrooms were very small. The food looked good but i was not impressed on the rice and beans, my churrasco-steak was really good as well as the side of soup and salad that it came with. The horchata drink was good. The tortillas were also good- handmade. Atmosphere was good, very decorative, family friendly. Kids liked their food, had a mini churrasco and of course chicken nuggets/ fingers options were on the menu. The paisano with steak plate looked and was very good as well as the Pollo guisado. It's a large menu full of options. I will go again, will try it one more time, hopefully not around 7pm on a Saturday night. In my opinion time management could be worked on, it took too long to get check, boxes to go but once again it could be due to short staffed. Limited parking spaces.
I love this restaurant!! I’m not just saying it because im Guatemalan, I literally travel almost 2 hrs for the food I noticed other people travel from far too because the food hospitality is that amazing! Took my parents for their birthdays it felt like home to them. Definitely a 5 star they need to open one in Connecticut pleaseeee!!!!!!!
