Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

We do not live in Rhode Island and had never heard of Chelo's before but after reading all the positive reviews we decided to give it a try. We went to Chelo's on Saturday at 5:00 PM, there were 17 people in our party. We were seated in a private room that was very clean and inviting. Our server, Reagan, was exceptional! She was pleasant, professional, attentive and efficient! This young woman handled our large party like a Pro! The appetizer samplers were very good as was everyone's meals. The portions were large and the temperature of each meal was perfect. Kudos to the entire team at Chelo's in Providence! The Manager, Joe, has a great team of people who are laser focused on providing exceptional customer service. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience and a special thanks to Reagan for a job well done!

A good place for a drink or some food. The bartenders were a little slow talking to other patrons a lot. The food was good. Two different bartenders made my drinks , 1 excellent, the other okay.

Laid back, relaxing atmosphere with friendly employees, exceptional serving staff and great food! I rate it a 4 out of 5.

I'm always really happy when I come to Chelo's because the food is great and the service is even better. Today, I ordered a Salmon burger but they initially got my order wrong. The staff fixed their mistake and were really nice about it and even gave me dessert on the house. The burger was nice and juicy and flavorful! And the chocolate pie was very decadent. A very satisfying meal, I'll keep coming back.

Everything was great and cooked perfectly, our waitress was outstanding, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the service was so slow. I'm not sure if it's due to lack of staff or an overwhelming amount of people, or both. We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed. We will definitely be back.
