Beautiful hotel in a great location. We could walk to everything. Bed was comfortable. Great steakhouse attached! Staff was exemplary. Housekeeping went above and beyond and the staff at the front desk was super helpful! View all feedback.
What Randy Pryor doesn't like about Centro At The Omni Providence:
Disappointing stay. The rooms are small, and lack even the most basic items (towel racks? . The beds were mediocre and the service was abrupt, and not overly polite. The lobby is nice, but for everything else, you would be wise to stay at the Courtyard next door. Save yourself some money and make another choice. View all feedback.

The customer service is abysmal here. Nonexistent if you will. There’s always some tired person on the other end of the phone not ready to take your call, but redirect you to someone else who can’t either. The last time I stayed the quality didn’t represent what the Omni standard claims to be. It has definitely gone downhill with time and there’s no upkeep. The lobby is beautiful of course, but things like the stairs or elevator will be out of service or unavailable. Or the gym and pool would hard to access. A place like this is great in the off season but at the lowest price available.
The hotel itself is fine and the location is great, but holy moly do the need to completely redo the valet and check in. What a nightmare with people idling a block in either direction waiting for 2(! valet staff to check in a queue of cars 50 deep at least, and with no traffic management to keep people from boiling over and raging over who gets into the driveway in which order. After you make it through that ring of hell, get ready for an insane line of slow check-ins at the front counter.Maybe don't make check-in so late in the day that everyone comes at the same time maybe?
Very nice hotel. However, the room service is pathetic. We payed $70 for a paltry steak sandwich and a salad that one could make at a school cafeteria (the falafel was very bad). On top of this, the portion sizes were extremely small.
Lavish hotel with fine brass lighting ole school wood panels welcome you outside. The room was sparkling clean and very comfy.Thank you Omni!Walkability: Walk through historic streets, there are plenty of fine eateries everywhere
