Awful service and overpriced drinks. Say at the bar for 10 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged our presence. The space wasn’t even busy. He seemed to be conversing with his friends at the opposite ends of the bar. When he finally DID acknowledge us, we were met with immense attitude like he was annoyed that we came in and wanted a drink at the bar.....Providence has way better bars and restaurants with bet... Aspire doesn't get enough credit when it comes to Downtown Providence restaurants. Phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere for a Saturday night sit down.
I am a bit mystified by some of these reviews. Maybe I am not a fussy person or maybe I overlook things and just don't sweat the details, I don't know. I have been there twice for Thanksgiving, once for Easter and just tonight with a family member who was in town. Every time the service has been superlative and the food was soo delicious. I love the eclectic menu choices. I would recommend Apsire to anyone who wants a great dining experience. As to the people complaining about going there before the theater... Aspire is a relaxed experience where you are meant to enjoy the ambiance, conversation and food. If you want in and out in 10 mins , perhaps McDonalds would be more to your style! Anyway, 5 stars without the slightest hesitation...keep up the wonderful food and great service!
Stopped in here for brunch before our flight home. I was amazed at the service. Ask to be seated with Angie, she's a sweety.
Would definitely go back. Loved our breakfast experience with Angie.
