Cafe Komodo's music, crockery, cutlery, furniture and the atmosphere reflected a retro nostalgia. It brought back good memories from my childhood. My poached eggs were perfect! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. My hubby, BFF and I love this place
Cafe Komodo is quaint, whimsical and very inclusive, even dogs are allowed out the back. There is a car park via the rear lane way (come that way if you’re bringing dogs) and entry to the cafe via their heated beer garden. Or take a cute little lane from Prospect Rd to enter via the front. Everything there made me smile, from the delicious maple roasted pumpkin mushroom dish I had to the kitsch chairs, tables, crockery and cutlery. Great friendly atmosphere with the other customers they all wanted to pat my friends’ adorable dogs. The live music was lovely and not too loud to overpower my group’s conversation. All service was with a smile and staff were very accomodating with our requests/questions. Highly recommend.
All day menu. Food absolutely delicious, made to order, interesting and fun. The atmosphere was beautiful in the back green garden area, (although cigarette smoke wafted through a little from people smoking in the carpark area. If that bothers you, there are other outdoor and indoor seating options). A little dark indoors during the day. Staff are amazing , are appear to love working here. Definitely will come again.

Cute little cafe nestled down a shady alley. The prices are reasonable and the food is good quality. Good quiet spot to catch up with friends. Many options on the menu including many gluten free options.
