He was originally from Chicago, USA and... read more Found this jewel on our trip to Chelem. They were happy to put us a little near and we even met the owner (or manager). He was originally from Chicago, USA and was very friendly. The staff had room. They made us fantastic margaritas. The view from the restaurant is beautiful during sunset. I'm vegetarian too. I could get spaghetti pasta with vegetables. And my friend got another dish that had shrimps and said it was fresh and great. We would definitely visit this place again. Awesome, great food, great people, great atmosphere and views.

Visited several times during the stay in Casa Rosa. Just 5 minutes walk. Carlos was a great host and speaks English that was a blessing as we just pulled here.... read more Visited several times during the stay in Casa Rosa. Just 5 minutes walk. Carlos was a great host and speaks English that was a blessing as we just pulled here. He understood my meat allergy and went out of his way to make me fish and chips that were not on his menu. Even tartaric acid sauce for me. Another night I had fish tacos. Excellent with large fried fish in each taco. Wife had his Playa Burger. Very large part and every time was able to eat only half, but saved for later. Another night she had his Sirloin Steak. She was perfectly cooked and seasoned. She recommends it and the Playa Burger. Margaritas are also good. Last but not least, it's on the water.
