I was tempted to try a couple big and tasty looking cocktails which I rarely do. The menu has a good selection and the waiters are polite and suggest popular dishes. The cruise ships are in Progreso 2 or 3 days a week so it is busy on those days but the staff are very fast on their feet and attentive. I would recommend. View all feedback.

Right by the beach in progresso. My credit card fell out of my bag when being seated and the hostess picked it up and handed it back to me even though I had no idea it had fallen! They were so nice and hospitable!!!!! Loved the food too!!
This is a brand new place with mostly Mexican food. 4 of us went there last night and had a good time and some very good meals. The place was almost empty when we got there at about 7:45 and we were the only people there by about 8 pm. I think this will change in the near future once people realize that this place is great. So here is the good and the bad for my rating:Good: Friendly staff, open and airy with both inside and street seating, menu in Spanish, good pricing, good to excellent food. I ordered a Modelo Especial (beer) only to be told they were out of stock - changed my choice to water. Waiter arrived with the drinks including my Modelo. He had gone across the street to the beer store and bought the Modelo - GREAT SERVICE! 1/2 point gain in rating.so-so/bad: As with most Mexican places, the music, when we walked in, was very loud ( waiter noticed my wife comment on the volume and immediately turned down to a level conversation was possible) - this attention to detail gained this place another 1/2 point in the rating. Also as with most Mexican places the meals arrived as they became ready. It seems no kitchen staff in any of the places we have been in Mexico have learned how to prepare meals for a group so that everyone gets to eat at the same time. Here was no different two of us ate while the other two waited - not good. The food was very good but the portions could have been larger. I like my food spicy and down here they generally have great house spicy salsas but you have to ask for them. The house salsa here leaves something to be desired. In General - This place seems to have it all - location, good food, great staff and a set up that should get the tourists in the door for a real party atmosphere but effective for locals on non cruise ship days as well.
