This restaurant prepares their dishes in advance and seem to use a spice called aroma - which contains wheat - in everything. Even normally gluten free items, such as rostis, are made this way. Options offered? Lettuce with oil and vinegar; bare steak, or plain fondue. Restaurants in the town of gruyere are much more accommodating. Management here refused to do adjust their preparation in any way. Avoid. View all feedback.
A sensational place where you can taste the delicious gruyere cheese made right there. Plenty of choice of dishes. All very well prepared and delicious. We recommend to try all the Les röstis Röstis and all the desserts made with Gruyere Cream . We recommend...the meringue with double cream of Gruyere . On the way to the restaurant and beside it there are many cows that amuse us! Gorgeous! Fantastic!
The museum is nice but I had the worst experience ever in the restaurant. There wasn’t enough servers, it took more than 10 minutes to get the menú because the only server was really busy. In addition they had a kind of event inside the...restaurant so they didn’t allow us to sit in there so we were outside but people were smoking in the table right next to us. I think they should’ve designated an smoking and no smoking area if they had that event. At the end we left without eating because it was impossible to find an available server, the manager didn’t care about the complain when I talked to him and just left me talking alone …

Avant de visiter la fabrique de fromage, nous sommes allés manger pour certains une fondue et pour moi des rostis / fromage / jambon de la borne. Prix respectables, bon service, très bien mangés.
On a très bien dîner même s'il fallait dîner tôt car la cuisine fermé à 19h00... Mais c'est très sympathique et la meringue double crème est très bonne !!!!!
