The restaurant offers vegan options for their burritos, including vegan versions of all the sauces. The owner is also vegan! The burritos with soy chorizo are not only tasty but also very satisfying and reasonably priced. The Baja burrito with avocado is especially delicious. View all feedback.
What Niesha Clark doesn't like about Red Hot Mama's:
When we first visited here years ago the food was amazing! I was looking forward to getting that same experience. Unfortunately, our food was subpar. The chicken taco was delicious. However, the fish tacos were not like I remember. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and upon returning to our rental realized they gave us a cheese quesadilla without any toppings. The homemade strawberry lemonade was horrible! We spen... View all feedback.
They have vegan crumble and vegan “dairy” as options, and initially I didn’t understand the menu but when I told the server I was vegan she explained they can make anything vegan. She also told me the chef is vegan, which always puts me at ease. They had substitutions for vegan feta, ranch, etc. I got the “Fat Mama” burrito and my boyfriend got the “Baja burrito,” we both asked for them to be vegan with the crumble and the dairy substitutes, which brought each burrito to $15 (a great price for the size and ingredients). The burrito was HUGE and so delicious! Would recommend this place to everyone! Edit: after reviewing them through their own platform they messaged me back and informed the they are owned by a vegan(s), and thanks me for choosing vegan! One more reason to support this awesome place! Updated from previous review on 2022-02-22
Had a burrito with soy chorizo, vegan cheese, and a vegan hot sauce. Huge and so good! They were super friendly as well. There are also a bunch of other vegan options at the other restaurants in the shopping center it’s in.
We ordered at another place listed on HappyCow, and then noticed Red Hot Mama’s. This place recently reopened at this location under a new name. The menu looked so good, with vegan written all over it, and they were even more popular than the other places in the food court, so we ordered burritos and tacos and took away our other meal. Vegan ordering was easy, and the ample meals were excellent quality.
Is the restaurant truly organic, as indicated on the menu? Can someone verify this? Thank you.
