This restaurant is a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is satisfying, but other times it leaves me and my wife feeling unwell. As a result, we go a long time without ordering from here. On the positive side, they offer customizable wraps and salads, and pickup is convenient. However, I find the prices to be high for the portion size, and often the order doesn't match what was entered in the app. It's a salad place, so what you see is what you get, but I wish the quality was a bit better. Despite limited options in town, we still include it in our meal rotation. I do enjoy the tasty Mexican goddess dressing, which is claimed to be vegan-friendly.
First-time experience: I ordered a new California destination salad, and I regret it! There were only two slices of cucumber and a few tiny pieces of rainbow carrots. It was mainly a bowl of greens with five pieces of chicken. Honestly, what is this? This was my first visit to Chopt, and it will probably be my last. I think Cava, Qdoba, and Panera are much better options.
Chopt was a delightful discovery in Princeton. The space is fresh, clean, and well-organized, and it really deserves a more appealing shopping center. The food is outstanding, plentiful, and thoughtfully curated. It's a fantastic spot to relax for lunch or dinner. We definitely need more Chopt locations in the area, as well as in Pennsylvania.
I recently dined at Chop't for the first time, and my experience was wonderful, all thanks to Jay. He suggested the chicken Tinga, and it was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely be going back. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend ordering the chicken Tinga (it has a nice kick to it) along with the creamy tomato basil soup.
