This pub has become wonderfully clean since the new management took over! The home-cooked food is fresh and reasonably priced. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is refreshing. I will definitely return and look forward to trying the Sunday roast! View all feedback.

Should try harder We visited as a small group looking forward to good food and drink. A mixture of good and poor. You cannot serve mediocre fish and chips overcooked and oily. Quite enjoyed it overall, but by 8.30pm you seemed only to want us to leave..... and instant coffee come on, we do better at home. Looked a lovely pub inside and out just ashamed there were no staff to serve you to food or drink
Very comfortable traditional pub environment. Bar staff/owners very down to earth. Definitely good for a few quiet beers in the day or a good night out on the weekend.P.S keep doing those out of the world roast potatoes best roasties I've ever had
A laid-back pub atmosphere. We only had drinks during our visit. It would have been nice to see a wider variety of cask ales.
This used to be one of the best pubs, but unfortunately, it has a worn-down appearance and atmosphere now. However, the mild beer is still quite good.
Unfortunately, the pub had experienced a break-in and was closed. However, the owner was very friendly.
