Grandview Dining Room - Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club

Beautiful view from dining room. Sunday brunch buffet had a wide selection of excellent quality dishes. Service was friendly and inviting.

This dining room really is a beautiful place to have a meal. The food is average unless you go for the Sunday Brunch and then they seem to kick it up a notch. I had chicken strips which were fine but the chips were chewy, also none of it was very hot. My coffee too was tepid. Others at our table said theirs was okay. BUT - the wait time to get the food was just over an hour and I call that just plain LOUSY !! Had it been busy it wouldn't have seemed so bad but there were only three other tables occupied. I dread to think what the wait time would have been if the place had been full.

This is a dining room at an upscale golf club on the outskirts of Calgary. The views from its restaurants are of the foot hills and on a good day you can see the Rockies. The menu is quite varied and the food is competently prepared. The wait staff are excellent.

We stopped for lunch and the view was spectacular as always. They have now finished the new deck and it is gorgeous (forgot to take a picture!). We had the carnivore pizza which was very meaty as expected with crispy crust and garlic tomato sauce. We also had the par 3 tacos with Cajun prawns and sweet potato fries. Everything was good, service included with the best view around.

We were there for a wedding banquet and it was excellent. The food was delicious, especially the prime rib. It was a beautiful evening which allowed us to spend time on the patio admiring the spectacular view.
