Was Ann T at Granny J's a mag?
We experienced outstanding service, and the food was truly delightful! We ordered the Chicken Fried Steak skillet, the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast platter, a California burger, and a chicken tender basket. The fries and the chicken fried steak stood out as especially remarkable. Although the prices were somewhat higher than I anticipated, the portion sizes were very generous. What A dislikes about Granny J's:
Awful experience! I went to this restaurant with my mother and ordered a cheeseburger, but it came out burnt, lacking cheese, and the lettuce was wilted. My mom was very disappointed with her meal, which was way too salty. I would recommend avoiding this place if you're looking for fresh food. The waitresses appeared distracted by their phones and were rude when we asked for our check to leave. View all feedback.

My visit on Sunday 9:30am. The food was good so I can't give 1 star. The service was very friendly. My guess is, the problem lies in the kitchen. The food took forever to come out. Missing both garnish toppings. Tables that were seated after us got their food first. Every table around us hade missing sides. This place has potential but it's hard to want to return when so many things go wrong.

We are still struggling to find a place with both good food and good service. We stopped in for breakfast, taking a chance once again in hopes of not being disappointed. It was pretty busy, we were sat by the hostess at a dirty table, stood and waited for her to come back and wipe it while she went and sat other people(I was stunned). Our waitress was very nice, that doesn’t make up for slow service though. We ordered scrambled eggs, and pancakes, it should have been fast and easy. NO, I watched three other tables order get their food and eat, while we still waited. Being a server for 10 years in my past, I am almost positive she forgot to turn in our order. We will not be back.
