Piccola Italia - Pretoria

Just went for takeaway pizza. The pizza was great. The service was efficient and courteous.

We love Piccola for a bite to eat if you want to avoid crowds. Based in a busy shopping center, and the seating is mostly outside on the pavement so the vibe is low key but they have some of the best pizza in Pretoria. It is best to book ahead as they have limited tables. We love the wine!

We enjoyed our first visit to Piccola Italia. Staff set up a table on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant so we could eat outside and service was attentive. The food was excellent. My generous portion of Osso Buco was flavorful and tender, and my son really liked his Spaghetti Polpette (spaghetti and meatballs). The vanilla and chocolate milkshakes were also good. My only complaints were that it took at least 45 minutes for the food to be served and there were no distractions for hungry children like my son. He eventually found a couple of other boys to play tag with along the strip mall sidewalk. I plan to return, knowing that the food may take some time to prepare.

We love the cosy feeling. I had the filled chicken breast and polenta. A definite must have. My husband had a pizza and it was perfect. Service was friendly.

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is delicious. I will definitely return.
