I've been coming to this restaurant for 30 years, and the food has never disappointed me. It's always served hot and fresh. The owner is a larger-than-life character, always friendly and chatty. This is the longest-running curry house in St. Helens. While there may be larger and fancier places, I believe you won't find better food anywhere else in St. Helens. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tandoori Ghar:
Please don't visit this place unless you want to be ill. The food is very poor quality and surroundings poor and in need of refurbishment. Every curry taste the same View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing eating, very tasty, great chefs, best Indian in St-Helens, beautiful and cozy and friendly staff, I am always happy to come back
Not so sure about the freshness of the curry base. The kebabs and appetizers are good though.

"As I dined at the restaurant, I found that there was no space for two at Ba'Bursi. So, we decided to give Tandoori Ghar a try. I had never been there before, and I was pleasantly surprised. The Indian food was the most exquisite I have ever tasted, accompanied by exceptional service. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend it; it's hands down the best Indian food I've experienced. The dishes were delicious with generous portions, and the staff was fantastic. Overall, it's just a wonderful place. I highly recommend it!"
