This review is about the recently opened Asian fusion restaurant inside the Daylight Donuts in Pratt (although the donuts looked great, too).My fiancee and I were on a road trip from Portland, Oregon to Chicago (and back), and were craving some Southeast Asian cuisine after days of eating sandwiches and chips out of the back of the car. We happened to stop in Pratt because the Main Street was so beautiful, and were so excited to find what appeared to be an Asian fusion restaurant inside of a donut shop. It looked closed, but just then the owner walked in off the sidewalk and invited us in to eat. My wife ordered spring rolls and I Pad Thai, although we both ended up with free soup and free egg rolls, which were both excellent. The gal even made special vegetarian spring rolls for my fiancee, since the menu only had meat options, and my wife contends that they were the best she's ever had. The food was also roughly half the price we would expect to pay in Portland, and on par or better in terms of flavor, and without a doubt was made with love and care. Whether you live in Pratt, or just find yourself passing through, this place is a gem, and the owner is a great representation of Kansas kindness and hospitality.

Tired of the price difference everyday, and now they are giving me day old donuts and passing them off as fresh. I'm sorry I know what a day old and fresh donut looks like and tastes like. They have lost a customer. And now that the Donut Palace is open that is where my business is going.
