The place was noisy, but cosy and cleans, and the food was delicious.

The name of the place is... read more Our new friend, who everyone calls Mary dal Canada, suggested we try this place. Superlatives do not exist to describe our experience. The name of the place is decpetive, since one might think it is a simple pizzaria. IT IS NOT. this may have been our best dining experience in Italy and we have been to both Pratola, and Rome and allo over Itay before this. The antipasti was extraordianry with all sorts of local specialties. It could have fed an army. The ricotta cheese was made fresh on the premises that morning. It was surreal. The arosticini (roasted lamb) was like none I have ever had. I typically an not a big dessert person, but my wife, whose mother lived here over a hundred years ago, insisted I try hers at least. I was left without words. If you are in Abruzzo and you don't go to this restaurant, you have definately cheated yourself. Favolosa!
