Ingredients are very locally sourced, the menu is Tuscan-lite for those seeking a change from the standard regional fare, and the service is delightful. One thing the restaurant seems to be lacking is a sign, and while central, it is worth mapping out before you go. It is located just off the Piazza San Marco near the old city wall. The building has been playfully restored to accommodate other local goods, culinary treats to-go, and a loft filled with beautiful offerings from local clothing designers. The highlight of our trip to Prato!

I don't think you have ever tasted such a good pizza. Local and simple yet incredibly original, Opificio JM is a great place to hang out in any season. Loved the outdoor space, the indoor dining and the reasonably priced fashion shop. The building perfectly integrates Tuscan architectural history in a modern-vintage fashion. Service is fast, precise, attentive....family friendly, great for private events and big groups but also on a couple night out. thumbs up guys!
