What David L doesn't like about Verbena:
Underwhelming is the word I would use to describe our visit to Verbena. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the presentation was nice, but the food didn't live up to expectations. Ingredients seemed to be of good quality, but service was slow and the food cold and bland. Very unimpressed for the prices paid and service received and I don't see any reason to return. Phenomenal Lobster toast!! Really the whole menu is fantastic though. The black cod is one of the top 2 fish dishes I have ever had. Plus the stuffed chicken was amazing. Moral of the story is: eat here and thank yourself View all feedback.
