We waited more th... read more This was comfortably the worst of the restaurants on the plateau in Praia that we tried. There's far better food to be had elsewhere in Praia. We waited more than two hours for the food which was poor when it arrived. My fish was bland and barely warm. The portion was small and the vegetables I ordered didn't show up. That wasn't the only issue with the order there were multiple mistakes amongst the 15 of us. Other dishes missed completely or the wrong variant provided. In fairness the cocktails I ordered were good. The service was friendly although the lack of language skills (English, French or Spanish) made life difficult when things started to go wrong. All in all best to avoid.

When the foo... read more We have been in Cape Verde for over a week and this is undoubtedly the worst meal we have had. We had to order three times as they kept forgetting. When the food finally arrived the portions were tiny (very generous elsewhere) and the food was not as described. My ‘chicken salad with balsamic dressing’ had no dressing and when I complained I was handed a bottle of balsamic vinegar. Eventually after going to the kitchen to complain I was handed a bottle of oil to go with the bottle of vinegar. The staff couldn’t care less.

The man who sang tried hard and was good.... read more At the end of my two-week trip, I spent the evening at Restaurante Avis. There was live music and I really enjoyed it. The man who sang tried hard and was good. I can't say anything about the food, but the Caiperiha was good. Recommend !
