What Štěpánka Nguyen doesn't like about Cafe Louvre:
I loved this place, but the service was terrible today, although the caffe was half empty. we have waited more than half an hour for a bill, and even no “shot” from the waiter side. View all feedback.
He heard that it was a century-old café where Kafka was a frequent visitor. Hot chocolate is really delicious and food was pretty good. It is worth noting that tips can only be paid with cash and not with card.
Just incredible! I was pleasantly surprised that such a historic and beautiful restaurant would have reasonable prices. The food was fantastic as well as the service. Obviously, we have ordered too much. For me, the pancakes were the best. I asked for the sour cream on the side for dietary reasons, the avocado toast was very tasty and fill. I tasted a hint of acid cream in the avocado, but I could be wrong. Do not miss during your visit to Prague!
Had an excellent Czech breakfast with great coffee. The atmosphere was strange, but almost half of the tables were reserved, but during my nearly 2h stay nobody showed up to claim them. So it was a huge Bohemian dining room the size of a football arena with a handful of people here and there.
Delicious eats and yummy drinks! Very nice atmosphere. Kid friendly! I brought my 13, 9, and 6 year old and they enjoyed it too. It is really neat knowing Einstein use to come here.
I liked that on the menu there are Czech dishes since I always try to have some local dishes. Prices are fair. My waiter was nice. I’d come back again, especially for the ‘thick soup’!
