Siam Orchid - Prague

I stopped by this charming and peaceful restaurant for lunch. The lunch specials were very reasonably priced and the portions were generous. The starter soup was amazing, with a delicate vegetable broth, glass noodles, small pork meatballs, cilantro, and crispy garlic. The main dishes were also delicious. We preferred the chicken massaman curry over the vegetarian option, but both were well-balanced and flavorful. They serve Singha, our favorite Thai beer, for only 60ck. Lunch specials range from 90-120ck and they offer a full menu as well. Just be aware that they close for a couple of hours in the afternoon before dinner service. If you have trouble finding the restaurant, look for the signs. It's located down a small alleyway and the middle door on the left leads to some stairs (see pictures). The restaurant shares an indoor patio with the entrance to a Thai massage parlor. The server was very friendly too. We would love to come back as the patio seemed like it would be lovely at night.

Siam Orchid is a delightful Thai restaurant in Prague that offers a welcome change of pace from the usual regional cuisine. The lemongrass soup was a perfect blend of sour and spicy flavors, and the seafood salad appetizer had just the right amount of heat (although it was too spicy for my wife). Our entrees, the green curry vegetables and basil pork, were both delicious. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent.

This restaurant offers amazing prices, has a very friendly and pleasant staff, and serves delicious food. I highly recommend trying their lunch specials. Despite the website saying they open at 5 pm, they are actually open for lunch as well. Please consider supporting this small business.

Decided to go Google tell me the best local restaurants, this was one of them I was not disappointed at all. The menu explains how sharp the meal should be eaten; but you can ask if you want it to be as spicy as it recommends. Definitely time to prepare for your meals, but worth waiting. In any case come back to taste other dishes. Location is hard to find if you don't understand how you're looking for building numbers from him to look for him.

Kraprao pork, absolutely delicious. This place is a little hidden, in the house and on the first floor (second for Americans) to definitely visit BUT when you are looking for Thai food.
