This restaurant is part of a monastery. The interior has a medieval wine cellar style. I love this place for its exclusive, elegant and mysterious style. The food was also one of the best meals I had in Europe. When I return to Prague, this is a place I would like to visit again. View all feedback.

Delicious beer in an atmospheric environment. We had planned on eating there but decided to just go for drinks when we saw the prices (which are twice as much as normal), we had the cherry beer and the light beer which were great. Service was a shame though, took almost 10 minutes to order a beer and the one bar tender/ waiter kept leaving for what looked like a private party in another room so that wasn’t ideal. Ove... This was the most interesting place I have ever enjoyed a beer at!!! The feeling of this place is indescribable!! You must go there to feel the dampness, smell the moisture, and touch the really old brick at this place to get the true feeling of it!!..We got their light beer and blueberry beer that are both made there and they both were really good...I like this place and would definitely like to go back here some day....The bartender was really cool too and knew a little English.
Amazing underground restaurant as Monastery brewery. As you we go down the stairs we came to amazing underground chamber of ex monastery brewery storage centuries old. We were well served by very kind staff. We spoke in English and we didn’t have any problems regarding understanding each other. Also the golash was delicious but we call that Bograch as there are also potatoes inside. The dark beer was nice as well the brownies were very tasty and with not too much sugar. The prices were pretty normal for Prague standard. The place has no gsm signal, that was also great, so we weren’t disturbed during our dinner. But they have Wi-Fi in case you need connection with outside world. We enjoyed the interior with service and for sure we will come back.

Overall though would definitely recommend for a beer stop though if not in a hurry!!
Maybe one of my favorite meals in Europe. Very romantic and personal. Limited seat so call and reserve. The outside is inconvenient, but inside is a unique experience. Great amount of meat and vegetables. The soup was also wonderful. Make sure you order your wine.
This place is amazing! We went around 2pm on Christmas Eve and were initially turned away by one of the waitresses, but the older gentleman (owner maybe) kindly seated us. The decor is out of this world, set under the monastery and had many original features. We loved the Christmas theming and the beers (although my Christmas beer was better than the blueberry). The quarter duck confit felt more like half a duck and the wagyu beef steak was perfectly medium rare. You should definitely come here to ear and drink! The menu was in about 6 different languages
