I tried a delicious pastry that was similar to a sausage roll but filled with mushrooms and stuffing—it was fantastic! There was a wide variety of vegan breads, cakes, and biscuits, all clearly labeled.

Great local bakery with everything baked fresh on the premises. All the bread is vegan and clearly labelled. Always at least one vegan “scroll” sweet bread swirled with various fillings. Ever expanding range of vegan slices again all labelled. The moistest fudgiest Vegan Brownies I’ve ever had! Other vegan cakes come on a ever changing cycle include flapjacks, cakes, “snickers”, crumbles etc! Also a few lunch items available. They make sandwiches to order (currently only falafel, hummus and salad available), as well as a couple of flavours of toasties! Staff are very knowledge on all allergens and happy to help! They are also happy to use your own containers and put most items in paper to lower plastic waste.

I find the staff really uncomfortable to speak to. They’re very shy and quiet or stand offish and rude so it’s super uncomfortable going in there but some of their treats are nice. The open hours are really poor but if you can get there in the morning then you’ll be likely to get things before they run out.

This large local bakery offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods made on-site. All the bread is vegan and clearly labeled. They always have at least one vegan “scroll” sweet bread, featuring various delicious fillings. The selection of vegan slices is extensive, and everything is well-marked. Their vegan brownies are the most moist I’ve ever tasted! Additionally, they offer a rotating selection of vegan cakes, including fold cakes, crumbles, and other delightful treats. There are a few lunch options available as well, with made-to-order sandwiches (currently featuring falafel, hummus, and salad) and a selection of toasties. The staff is very knowledgeable about allergens and eager to assist! They also encourage customers to bring their own containers and use paper packaging for most items to reduce plastic waste.

I find it quite uncomfortable to interact with the staff. They tend to be very shy and quiet, or sometimes they come off as rude, which makes visiting the restaurant an unpleasant experience. On the other hand, some of their dishes are absolutely delicious. However, their operating hours are quite limited. If you can manage to go there tomorrow, you might be able to get their popular items before they run out.
