Our food was delicious they went out of their way to make it a special night for us. We've previously eaten here a number of times it's always excellent. If you're looking for a place to eat out in Rhayader I can't recommend the Elan highly enough

The room was comfortable and lovely, the food was fabulous (both breakfast and dinner), and the staff was great. The hotel was spotlessly clean, bright, and airy, creating a really nice atmosphere. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you plan on visiting Gigrin Farm Red Kite feeding station, which is only half a mile away.

I also had a meal at The Elan last year, which was also fantastic. My son even said it was the best steak he had ever had.
