Mabel's - POWHATAN

For the first time at a Mable's and enjoyed it. So many different burgers and milkshakes. All gourmet and specialty made. Great service! I expected a small prize winner, but it was worth it.

We were exhausted and starved after the work of a market all day and I saw Mabel's on Google so thought we would stop for a burger and shakes. We found a jewel in Powhatan. We moved to the area a few months ago and went home almost daily from here, it's hidden back at the South Creek Shopping Centre. The staff was the sweetest! So helpful, patient and friendly. The food... These burgers are juicy, fill and tasty. The frits, I have not ordered because fries are fries, I ended another side of fries because they are delicious in the dipping sauces that come with the appetizer sampler. All 4 of us shared a banana column and I'm pretty sure we could share it with more people. The portions are generous, food is mouthwater and delicious, the desserts are spectacular, and the staff is amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience after an exhausting day. We'll be back.

My husband and I have been here for the first time for our anniversary. It was a holiday so that we were happy surprised to find that they were open. As soon as we entered, the service was 5 stars. Our sweet waitress often checked us during our stay. We both ordered a burger, pommes and onion rings and they were delicious. To celebrate, we also ordered the peanut butter insanity shake, and wow, which presentation! I'm glad we ordered one because we had to go home. What a beautiful little casual jewel in Powhatan that stops you from going all the way to the city. Will definitely return.

We were just for Shakes and Sundaes. We also ordered an appetizer plate. Everything was phenomenal! I can't say enough good things! Guys, you have to try! The Shakes were huge! You could share the sunflowers without any problems!! They're all like three desserts in one! The day we left the Ac was broken. It was awfully hot inside. At 97 degrees it felt cooler outside than in! That's not her fault. The staff was friendly and helpful. Try this place!

Our first time there. Heard about them through friends. It was our Anniversary so we wanted something different. Well, we were not disappointed, the service was great, the food was phenomenal and dessert was out of this world!! If you haven't been, go. If you've gone, go again. We're going back, and we'll try something different every time.
