Snickers Pizza Bar - Powell River

We had a really good meal here out on their nice patio under fruiting vines. The hosting staff were quirky and friendly, a source of great advice on the menu choices, and very welcoming. They even took the time to ensure that we saw the beautiful sunset. The food was lovely and portion sizes are large! An appy is probably not necessary especially as the desserts sounded so good too. We left very satisfied and look forward to a return visit.

The waitress and the atmosphere were good, and i got told by the restaurant that the food was fresh, but considering that i almost puked after eating the pasta that i ordered, the taste was Ok not good , but i would doubt of the freshness of the food.

We are from the UK and travel to Canada every year, we've eaten here many times and it is wonderful to be offered a meal which hasn't been deep fried and it comes with vegetables. Our lovely waitress Helena was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very helpful. We sat on the patio which had a wonderful vine completely covering the roof - superb. The meals were huge so we skipped a starter, our main courses arrived with baked potato. cauliflower, broccoli and carrots. perfect. Such a pleasant surprise to everything with chips. Thank you Snickers, we will be back

I was walking by and thought I'd order a pizza to go and take it back to the hotel. I went in and noticed a menu at the counter. The hostess said that's only a 2 for 1 menu so pointed me to another person who would look after me. I ordered a large pizza off the main restaurant menu. I commented that it was expensive for a to go order and she didn't say anything. I paid $31 for a single large and was told to be back in 20 minutes. I came back after 15 minutes and looked at the 2 for 1 menu. It had the same pizza for $6 more for 2 larges. I asked if i was over charged for the single and was told that was the local take out menu I was looking at. I said it appeared I was paying a premium off the restaurant menu for take out especially given this local menu. Basically she said that's the way it was. Just left me a with a feeling I'd been taken advantage of. The pizza itself was just o.k The crust was soggy in the middle on the underside like it could have used a few more minutes. Wasn't happy with the pizza or experience.

30 people. A variety of meal choices. Service was ace! Waitress was amiable, efficient and did a great job with over 15 bills - in and out in two hours. Price was good. Would love to see a specialty Greek menu - expand from just souvlaki, lamb. Would love to share bigger menu choice with friends who visit!
