I took my boys here after their soccer game and the ladies here were incredibly nice. Excellent service and the food was SOOOO good. My boys devoured everything and my son even said this is his new favorite place. We had the street noodles, the tempura shrimp, and my son had a pork plate. Everything was amazing. Found this gem in Scripps Ranch! Very warm and friendly staff and the food is delicious! The curry puffs and the ginger fish were scrumptious; the curry noodles too. I switched out the chicken for tofu and loved it (curry noodles): Our picky kid enjoyed his meal of chicken chow mein. The ladies are sisters and the restaurant feels like they are having you over for dinner, very family friendly. They close at 8:00 p.m. so get there early!
So glad I decided to try this place--I come here weekly now and the food never disappoints! The pumpkin curry and Lao street noodles are two of my favorites, but every dish I've tried is extremely delicious. The portions are generous, service is quick, and food is packed with care for to-go orders. Plus, everyone working here is friendly and wonderful. :

Crispy rice salad was mind blowing. Everything was GREAT! The service was fast and friendly too!
Review update: as mentioned, came again to try out the stir fried dishes, and definitely better, as expected. Laos street noodles: basically a phad thai with chewier noodles. A solid B rating. Ingredients tasted very fresh, especially the shrimp. Bok Choy: Another solid B. They used the better, small bok choy unlike many other restaurants that serve the cheaper, but less tasty, bigger variety. Well fried and sauce was good but a touch more seasoning would have been better. Mok Pa: first time I tried it. It was well cooked and fish texture was good. But the spices simply is not my cup of tea. I don't want to grade it because I feel that would be unfair. I'm sure it's quite authentic. I all honesty, a 3.5 would be closer to my true rating. And worth coming back to try other items, but I would still stick more with the wok stir fried items.
