My friends and I decided to have di... read more I haven 't been going to Poway often...so when an opportunity presented itself I took advantage of spending some time there. My friends and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant after a Black History Month presentation at the Poway Library. I used my trusted source, YELP, to find a nearby restaurant to get our grup on.We were first timers at this restaurant and looked forward to some delicious Chinese food. When we stepped in, we got thrown off by the sign wait to be seated but no host/hostess was around then realized we had to place our orders at the cashier-the prices were reasonable and not too long afterwards we received our meals at our table. We were pleasantly surprised by the large portions. Why did this place remind me of Panda Express but an upgraded version?! Anywho, we left full and satisfied.

We were thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. After moving my adult daughters into their new apartment, we were all quite hungry, and this place turned out to be a wonderful find. There's a wide variety of options, including ramen, poke, sushi, and Chinese dishes! I ordered a lot, fearing it wouldn’t be enough, but the portion sizes were incredibly generous. We indulged ourselves and still had leftovers to take home. I just wish it was closer, but the 15-minute drive is easily worth it.

I had the Tonkatsu ramen and my son ordered the vegetable ramen with egg and chashu pork. He asked for rice noodles and no soy sauce so it would be gluten free and they were happy to accommodate. Broad selection of poke also. Forgot to ask if any of their many sauces could be made gluten free. I guess that gives me a reason to go back.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free options

The poke bowl had plenty of opti... read more This was my first visit, and I definitely plan to return to try more of the menu. We ordered a poke bowl and chicken chow mein. The poke bowl had plenty of options and was a good size for the price. While I’ve had better chow mein in the past, it was still quite tasty and came in a generous portion. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We had a short wait to walk in and place our to-go order. I'm excited to come back and sample some other dishes.

However, I found... read more The menu offers a wide variety of excellent options. I have tried the poke bowl, mapo tofu, and a ramen bowl, and all of them were quite tasty. However, I found the spice levels to be a bit on the high side; even a level 1 on the ramen was still a little too spicy for my liking. The California roll was also very good. I look forward to trying many more dishes in the future.
