Groovey Bites - Poulsbo

Complete waste of money. There were two of us, and one of us ordered a beer, but they were out of that particular one. Not a big deal—I just picked a different kind. I ordered a shake, but they were out of ice cream, so I opted for a vegan shake instead. When it arrived, the waiter informed me that it was only 3/4 full because they had run out of ingredients. To top it off, it tasted terrible. We also ordered two burgers and fries. The burgers were just okay—not great, but not terrible either. The real disappointment was the fries; I've never encountered such limp, greasy fries in my life. You could actually smell the burnt, stale oil they were fried in. The total bill came to $45.00. Save your money and go elsewhere!

The first burger I tried was the Groovy Burger with a veggie patty, and it was delicious—truly no complaints. Then last night, my family and I went back, and I decided to try the Monster Burger with the veggie patty. Honestly, it was incredible! It had just the right amount of spice, and the flavors were bursting in my mouth. I removed the bacon since I'm not a fan, but my husband had the same burger without the veggie patty, and he absolutely loved it as well. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to families. I absolutely love this place! I used to be a regular at Groovy Burger, and now that it’s Groovy Bites in Poulsbo, the menu has changed, but it’s just as delightful. They even went off-menu to make me a special order for my birthday and stayed open a bit longer than usual so we could finish up. That was incredibly thoughtful! SUPER AWESOME!

When it arrived, the waiter mentioned it was only three-quarters full because they were short on ingredients. Unfortunately, it tasted terrible. We also ordered two burgers and fries. The burgers were decent, but nothing special. However, the fries were the worst part; they were the limpest, greasiest fries I've ever encountered, and you could actually smell the burnt, stale oil they were cooked in. Our total bill came to $45. I would recommend saving your money and not dining here.
