Warm and cozy. Excellent coffee and the vibe is perfect. Plenty of space inside but the parking is a bit tight, so you might have to park down the street.

Amazing coffee, but I just had a bad experience with service today. The woman with lots of tattoos gave me big attitude when I asked her to add more milk to my latte this morning. I know exactly where the 16oz mark in my personal cup is (measured it carefully at home), and she served me a grande size one inch shy. Paying nearly $8 for a drink, I should get short changed by that much, especially after having already given a $2 tip. She said she measured it on her end and that it was correct, and with major attitude put more in. I have been a customer for nearly five years and have never had an experience like this. Her moods are volatile… sometimes good, sometimes not at all, but I shouldn’t have to deal with that. I won’t be going there again. There are more friendly options out there!

Came through the Silverdale area as a travel nurse a few months ago. Easy to feel isolated in that line of work. That said I always felt welcome here. It’s a given that the coffee and the food were good, but I would not remember so fondly if not for how cool it was to know I could go somewhere and get a coffee and just talk to a person. I came from out of town early this morning with my 3 kids for a medical appointment. It was our very first time at Cafe Cocina and I was so impressed with the service, menu, and atmosphere. Having been a barista for many years I have a high standard for coffee. My drink was handed to me in record time and it was PERFECT. Food was delicious and even all my kids were happy! Then in my exhausted state I drove away without paying ? I realized my mistake about 10 minutes into my drive home and called to pay over the phone. The gal I talked to was so understanding and kind. I will make a point to frequent this place every time I drive through! Thanks for an amazing experience, girls!
