I have so much memories of coming here when I was little. Unfortunately the location in my area closed down. But their food is still amazing!!! I had their wrap with fries and it tastes really fresh and natural. Their fries were fried to perfection. Also their Chicago style pizza was amazing it was so good that I am tempted to move to Chicago. View all feedback.
What Linda M doesn't like about Unos:
This location was ok. The pizza was good and we were able to make substitutions to one of their signature pizza dishes. There were a few issues. First it took a very long time to come out and the place was virtually empty. Also our utensils did not look clean and had streaks on them! View all feedback.

The food here is awful, the service terrible. Stump trivia is their only saving grace and is the only reason I return. Everything here is always super greasy. I know it's an Uno's, but the amount of grease is absurd. You may feel ill when you leave. Even the drinks are bad unless you stick to beer. I once ordered a sangria never again. I watched as the waitress poured by drink from a huge gallon container of chemical sludge at the bar as she mixed it with a little bit of seltzer water and even less wine. There's a really friendly maitre d' that seats people on trivia nights, and besides the trivia woman that is not an Uno's employing, they are the only saving graces as far as employees. The waitstaff doesn't take your drink order until you're seated for at least half an hour, and seriously takes another 20 minutes to bring you a drink, so matter how simple your order. When they bring the food, they rarely bring silverware or napkins with it, and by the time you realize, you have to wait another 20 minutes to get the waiter's attention unless you just go up to the bar ... if you can catch the bartender to help you out once you get there, that is.
I was on a road trip with friends, and we all began to feel hungry at the same time. Searching for a reliable and safe option, we decided upon Uno Pizzeria and Grill in Poughkeepsie. We entered the establishment and were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was not very crowded at 3:30pm, however our party of 4 was seated at a booth in the bar area of the restaurant. While we appreciated the bar's vaulted ceilings and skylights, we weren't sure if we might have enjoyed relaxing into our meal at a table in the proper dining area. No matter, our waitress Heather was friendly and pleasant, and she took our drink and food order immediately. Our drinks arrived quickly, including 2 waters, a Pepsi and an Ultimate Margherita. The waters and Pepsi were standard fare, and the Margherita was a little on the sweet side but certainly drinkable. Our waitress then brought our plates and silverware, whereupon we waited for 20 minutes for our food to arrive. It felt like longer than 20 minutes because we were all ravenously hungry, and we were a little perturbed to find that one of our forks and one of the plates were not properly cleaned. We sent these errant tableware items back to the kitchen, and Heather handled the situation graciously, returning to our table with clean utensils and plates without hesitation. I ordered the 2 for $12 combination meal, and had chosen the spinach and chicken salad and baked ziti and sausage. My salad was the first dish to arrive at the table, followed up to 7 minutes later by our appetizer orders of mozzarella sticks and pizza skins. The spinach in my salad was crisp, and the chicken was well grilled. It was a very reasonable salad for the price of the combo meal. The pizza skins were a hydrogen bomb of carbohydrates, a little bland in flavor but satisfying to snack on nonetheless. The mozzarella sticks were unmemorable (and we're writing this review less than an hour after our meal . On to our entrees. Between the four of us, we ordered three deep dish pizzas, plus the aforementioned baked ziti with sausage. The ziti was a tad salty, and the sauce was somewhat oily, but the pasta was cooked al dente and the sausage had a nice spicy kick. My husband's Farmer's Market Pizza exceed expectations, featuring a lovely pesto topped with a variety of excellently roasted and sautéed vegetables including caramelized onions. The standard Cheese and Tomato pie was nostalgically satisfying, yet still a bit too salty and lacking in the sweetness that a quality marinara sauce will offer ideally. The Shroom Pizza, a new addition to the Uno Pizzeria Menu, was a gelatinous mess. The oil dripped from the slice, making each bite soggy and difficult to eat. Unfortunately, this dish was an ultimately disappointing aspect of our Uno's experience. Heather made sure to check on us frequently as she kept our drink glasses full with refills and our spirits high through to the end of our meal. We were also glad to receive a mid-meal check-in from a man whom we assumed to have been a manager, as he was dressed nicely and was clearly at work but was not wearing a name tag. There was an accessibility bathroom just off of the dining room, and the other bathrooms were located downstairs. While the bathroom was clean, the lighting was a little dim and the electric hand drier was not working in the women's bathroom, although it was stocked adequately with paper towels. I have been to other Uno's locations with brighter lighting in the bathrooms, including at the Crossgates Mall in Albany. In conclusion, we all agreed that the 2 for $12 deal was a great value for the money, while some of the personal sized pizzas seemed a little overpriced relative to the portions. However, we left with full stomachs (we had absolutely no room left for dessert! and two boxes of leftover food. We truly appreciated the friendly and attentive service that we received as well. We would unanimously return if our next road trip passes through Poughkeepsie.
Hate to do this and take this down to one star because our usual servers, Katie and Kayla, were really great. I hope that they get the hell out of Dodge, though. Restaurant is still poorly managed, even with an apparent manager change. Took an hour a few weeks ago to even get our meals. When the manager came out, she said that she was in the kitchen herself and gave me clapback and resistance for having a problem with how late our food came out. Moreover, management nixed trivia on Wednesday nights, firing our usual host/game and replacing it with some crappy Bingo based trivia it's all luck based. It's obvious that management did not do any research into what the new game being offered was, nor did they listen to any clientele feedback. When the game was sprung on us in the place of the old game, many usual players walked out and voiced concerns to management. Management has remained firm in sticking with the new game. Given that the new game is provided by a new local company, I can't help but wonder if the manager is getting some sort of sweet deal or is doing a friend a favor by employing their services on Wednesday evenings. It's not worth coming back to a place where the speed of the kitchen gets worse and worse with each passing week, where the accuracy of the kitchen is continually questionable, and where management makes excuses for their inability to make sure that the kitchen is appropriately staffed. It is clear that management here does not listen to their customers at all.
I enjoyed it while it lasted, it was my daughters favorite place. So Long UNO's I loved your nacho platter and your reese's cup dessert, my daughter loved your pizza
