Don't let all these other reviews fool you: The food is delicious and EVERYTHING is significantly fresher and more premium tasting than any other deli in the area. I almostwouldn't even call them a deli; They are the best sandwich shop in town! (yes they do serve your traditional deli foods too! Ohand they do catering too!!! We had an event recently catered by them and everyone RAVED about how good the food was! Every timeI have gone in the owners and staff are kind and courteous and ALWAYS go above and beyond. I was even in a few weeks ago and asandwich was made on the wrong type of bread and they remade the entire sandwich for free for the customer! Long story short,whether you're new to the area or a long time resident, if you haven't tried Shelly's Deli yet you are missing out!

A community page online had a post from a woman who was unhappy to be called by the owner complaining about the tip amount she left. I left my comment about my previous experience with him so did many others. He than after readingdecided to private message me on Facebook trying to bully me and somehow excuse his behavior. The man is rude and unprofessionalit?s absolutely unacceptable. From other comments he?s been rude to other customers and employees as well. I have left wellenough alone for years as this incident occurred while I worked there and left me with a medical bill that destroyed my creditbut he felt entitled to try to blame me and justify his lack of action. Don?t wast your hard earned money during this struggleof a time on this business!
