With my fiancée stopped, on a walk the Locust Grove estate was looking for a venue, saw this place on the way and thought maybe we should check it. Put a foot on the property and was asked to out that it private property. I just assume we're a gay couple so our money is not good enough for this place that literally hasn't docked boats. No hospitable! just arrived after poughkeepsie, a walk to the hudson river and when I stood at the oat for a minute to watch the beauty of the night, a dame came to me from the club and asked me to go rudely. I was on the water without interrupting someone, far from the actual property. very disappointing experience.
The pirate canoe club was the place for our class reunion picnic. the food was good, the staff was courteous and the guests were satisfied.

Private club that opens to public once in a blue moon. Been here for special events, food is hot, they have a great bar and a great view of the Hudson River.
