I imagine a place that is open 24 hours is going to be very difficult to maintain! I hope one day they can give it the love it deserves as this place has a lot of interesting history. The staff is wonderful and the food good. I can't wholly recommend it because it is in such disrepair that even if it is clean, it doesn't feel clean. As a fan of diners, this place is exactly what I want. I give it 100% on everything, from the atmosphere to the fluffiness of the pancakes. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.
The cheeseburger deluxe was fantastic - very juicy and flavorful. The French onion soup was delicious as well. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was family-friendly.
They at least make an effort. My colleague and I try to visit two sit-down restaurants each week. The diners we've tried haven't been successful because they prioritize efficiency over quality food. We have yet to find one that stands out as excellent. It's surprising how tough it can be to mess up a simple bagel and coffee, but somehow, The Acropolis succeeds. The bagel is subpar, and while the coffee isn't terrible, it's nothing special either.
Wow! that's what a classic diner is about! great eating, great ambiente and even better service. this place offers super affordable breakfast and dinner options and has early morning hours for early birds like me. they can rely on classics and also get some Greek, Italian and Mexican options. what makes it even better, is that the family-run love supports local businesses! this will be a booklet in my weekly routine definitiw. I love the mini jukeboxes on the tables such a cool mood!
